Get to Know Aubree'
Aubree' knew that she was going to help people like her younger brother since she was 13 years old. She wanted to help children who stuttered, like he did, as well as those with other communication difficulties.
For the past 17 years, Aubree's been doing just that. She discovered her love of working with adolescents and pre-adolescents by accident. During her first year as a speech-language pathologist, she was assigned a middle school by her employer (much to her dismay!). Because of this "unfortunate" appointment, she realized how easily she connected with these older students. Aubree' has worked almost exclusively with middle and high schoolers ever since.
Aubree' has a natural rapport with older students, which she attributes to never forgetting what it was like to be that age. She's very sensitive to the struggles and difficulties surrounding being a teen, and easily connects with students because of this. Aubree' tells anyone who asks that she "absolutely loves" her job, and that is unequivocally true. Her zeal for working with teens and pre-teens is apparent when she talks energetically about past and current students.
Aubree' is an enthusiastic and qualified candidate for all of your speech/language needs!
